The conjunction of the Sun and Venus in Gemini encourages us to express our values and love, which is challenged by the conjunction of Mars and Neptune in Pisces, that is fighting on behalf of the underdog or taking actions for our ideals. Under the Moon is in Sagittarius, the situation is emphasised and expanded because of Jupiter’s growing character. Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is now going through in Cancer and reflecting what happened before (history).
This sounds familiar with what is happening right now in the US, and how the situation is influencing the individual’s emotions around the world. I am no political but lots of feelings around the USA where I lived for 3 years (1989-1992) to study about the USA. During the period, I lived in distinctively different states, the Northeast, the Midwest and the South.
Before my living there, I’ve read many books about the US written in 60’s-70’s. But I was shocked to feel the strong social tensions even in 90’s even in universities. Having studied American Studies, I am much aware of the US history with suffering of Native Americans, Civil Rights movement, concentration camps against Japanese Americans, etc. A bright history often has a dark shadow. As sensitive me, I often felt that many parts of the land needed profound healing. Healing often comes with a deep purge and cleansing, not just removing a surface symptoms.
In 2020 it has been and will continuously show dramatic placements of the sky which is anchored by the ongoing triple conjunction by Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto, urging profound changes and healing of the society and those on earth.
