Mercury goes retrograde at least 3 times a year. This time, it is happening between 27th Sept and 18th Oct. During this period, it is said that communications, digital/non-digital devices, travels and all sorts of things go strange, malfunctioning or nuts. If something crazy is suddenly happening during this time, keep calm and stay low until Mercury goes direct on 18th Oct, instead of reacting to the events emotionally. Stay safe. Breath deeply.
